In defense of my Bishop

Opposition to the LGBTA agenda is not based on bigotry, it is based on serious biblical and philosophical reflection whose core tenant is the concept of natural order.  The natural order for a man is to mate with a women for the purpose of creating a human being.  Any deviation from that is disordered.  The Catholic Church is opposed to actions or behaviors around that disorder.  It is not opposed to someone being a lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender or queer person.  That is a huge difference that never is explained.  

The Catholic Church doesn’t hate LGBTA people, quite the contrary.  

For a Bishop to caution his flock against a culture that is contrary to Catholic faith and morals is his job!  Bishop Tobin need not apologize for doing his job. I applaud him for having the lionheartedness for saying what he said.  Apologizing to a mob mentality is futile.
